Register today for EWGA Tucson’s Annual Dinner on November 3 at Skyline Country Club!! Our biggest event of the year welcomes in your new board of directors, offers the opportunity to mix and mingle with your golf friends off the course…and did I mention great prizes!! Our guest speaker this year is Carleigh Silvers, Golf Pro at Starr Pass. Carleigh played on the Symetra Tour in 2015 and qualified for the 2014 U.S. Women's Open Championship. She’ll talk to us about life on the tour and lessons she’s learned that apply beyond golf.
Welcome to our newest sponsor, The Green Monkey! This great shop sells gently used women’s clothing, shoes, and accessories. Located at River and Craycroft, next to Whole Foods, there are some wonderful finds here. Check it out!
We had a great send-off for Kathie Coil and Linda Stratton on October 6 at Vero Amore where more than a dozen EWGA Old Pueblo members toasted (several times!) to their success at the EWGA National Championship event in Lansdowne, VA on October 15-16. Safe travels, Ladies, and good luck!
Fourteen golfers enjoyed a beautiful autumn day at Ventana Canyon on the Mountain Course on October 9 for our Lagging Competition. Karla Leveque took first place – most shots closest to the pin after all players in the group were on the green. Mary Ellen Case won second place, and Galen Grant took third place. Galen and Caren Bidegan won prizes for longest drives, and Janet West won a prize for the only chip-in of the day. Thanks all for coming out and making this event a success!
