What's all this about about a Chapter web site account?  This is NEW for www.ewgatucson.org.

On June 1, 2007 the Tucson - Old Pueblo Chapter of EWGA switched web services to an automated event registration process.  This new process requires much less hands-on time from your volunteer board members and ensures automated electronic protection of your credit card information - no chapter board members have any access to your credit card information.
The new service requires members to have an account on the web site to receive member priviledges such as member prices for on-line event registration and internal chapter information.
All Tucson Chapter members are provided accounts on this website by the combined efforts of the Membership Chair and Webmaster.  You should have received an email with the log in information - on May 31, 2007 for existing members, or within 2 weeks of joining EWGA for newer members.  If you are an EWGA member from another chapter, you may request an account to register on-line for our events at member pricing.  Please see information under the topic Event Registration.
NOTE:  Mail in registration for events is still available using the newsletter flyers or printing the mail-in form available at this link.  On-line event registration is provided for added convenience.

I don't know how to "log in" or "sign in" to the Chapter web site www.ewgatucson.org.  What do I do?

To log in to the site, you need your email address and a password.  This is DIFFERENT than the EWGA overall association site (www.ewga.com), which uses your member ID and a password.  The default PASSWORDS are NOT the same.  You should always change your password to something you can remember.

Question:

How do I determine which email address to use to log in to the Chapter website www.ewgatucson.org?

The email address for log in to the Chapter web site is the email address you provided to the Executive Women's Golf Association when you applied.  It can be found by logging into the EWGA website www.ewga.com Members Only.  It also is the email address at which you receive all association email.
If this did not help, you may contact webmaster@ewgatucson.org to resend your log in information.  Although most responses should be same day, it could take as much as a few days due to work/travel/vacation.

Question:

I forgot my password for www.ewgatucson.org? Now what?

A default password was emailed to you at the time the account was set up.  You should change your password to something you remember after you log in to the site.  But, now, you can't remember your password - so, just click on the "Forgot password" link next to the log in.  You will need to provide the email address we have on record, and then an email will be sent to this address.  The email will contain a link to CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD to anything you want it to be.  You should receive this email within a few minutes, and must act on it fairly soon, as it will time out eventually.  If, in the mean time, you remember your password, you can forget the email and no harm is done.

What is the difference between the members only account on the www.ewga.com web site and the log in at the www.ewgatucson.org website?

The EWGA organization web site is www.ewga.com.  The organization is over 17,000 members strong which Chapters located all over North America.  The Members Only account, which uses your Member ID and a password, allows you access to a directory of all members, electronic membership renewal, EWGA purchases, and the EWGA Golf Life Management System handicap system.  This web site is maintained by the association.
The Tucson - Old Pueblo Chapter web site is www.ewgatucson.org.  The chapter is approximately 150 members in the Tucson area.  The chapter member account, which uses your email and a password, allows you to sign up for Chapter events, view whether you have signed up for an event, and look up chapter members in a chapter directory.  Additional features will be coming thru-out the year.  This web site is for the local Tucson area and is managed completely by volunteers.
