Golf Education
Education is the cornerstone of the Executive Women’s Golf Association. We are the only organization where players can start from scratch and move right from lessons to a league. Plus, we provide opportunities for beginners to play with more experienced golfers to encourage proper etiquette, rules familiarization and camaraderie. We also give our members an opportunity to learn about handicaps and how they are established.
As you improve your game, EWGA offers leagues, tournaments and clinics as well as networking opportunities for you throughout your golfing and professional careers.
New Golfer Program -
From time to time we hold programs for new golfers - from those who have never picked up a golf club to those who have played with business colleagues and didn’t enjoy it very much. EWGA’s program can help you learn the rules and etiquette of the game and will help you become comfortable and at ease when playing golf. If we are not currently running such a program, we suggest that you contact one of the golf professionals listed below, or feel free to contact our Golf Education and Player Development Board Chair at
education@ewgatucson.org.
Specialty Clinics -
These are clinics designed for a specific part of your game. Previous clinics offered include: short game (100 yds & in), long game, chipping and putting.
