WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON LEAGUE

LOEWS VENTANA CANYON GOLF RESORT
Now is the time to get a partner for the 9-hole summer league at Ventana Canyon;
a weekly commitment for experienced golfers (**max 36 hdcp).
DATES: Every Wednesday Beginning May 5
League play thru August 18
Deadline: April 23
TIME: T-Times begin at 3:30 (10-minutes apart)
COST: $50 per member, $60 for non-members (for prize pool) paid on first day of play (do not pay on-line)
$32 each round - Pay for golf at Course
FORMAT: 2-person team format, modified match play. 40 total points available to win each week. Players will receive 2 points for each hole won, 1 point for a tie, and 4 points for low team net. A course handicap will be established the first two weeks of play and adjusted weekly. Game rules will be sent to all players.
SUBS: A substitute list will be established for those who would like to participate but
can’t play at least 75% of the time. This allows league players to go on vacation and not lose their match. Subs do not pay for registration and are not eligible for prizes, but will pay $32 to play. Subs will be contacted at least a week in advance of when they are needed to play.
PARTNERS: Your partner can be a member, or non-member, male or female. All teams must have at least one member. If you would like to play but don’t have a partner we will help find one
DEADLINE: April 9…sign up early because we have a limit of 16-teams (32 players, 8 t-times)
Please register on-line, but pay $50 for prize pool on the first day of play.
DO NOT pay for prize pool on-line.
**Max 36 handicap was established to allow a max of 2 hdcp strokes per hole for 9 holes (total of 18-strokes). In order to be fair to yourself and your partner you should be able to routinely score ‘around’ 55 for 9 holes. Otherwise, you may not have a fair chance of winning points.
NOTE: You are welcome to play if your handicap is over 36, but you will only be allowed 2 hdcp strokes per hole.
